Melanie graduated from BYU-Idaho with a Bachelor’s degree in Marriage and Family Studies with and emphasis in Child Development. She loves working with preschoolers and finding developmentally appropriate ways to engage them in the learning process. She is a member of NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children), and stays current with the latest research in her field. She has a CDA and is currently working on a Master’s degree in Teaching, Elementary Education at Western Governor’s University. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 boys.
Chelsey is from Montpelier, Idaho. She has been with Logan City School District for 8 years and has been a preschool teacher at Hillcrest Elementary for 5 years. She has her Child Development Associate Certification and is currently going back to school to get her Elementary Education degree. Teaching children has always been a passion of hers and after being a stay at home mom she decided to make her dream a reality. She enjoys camping, crafting, playing games and reading. She along with her husband Chad and their twin daughters have called Logan home for the past 19 years.
Angie graduated from Utah State University in 2001. She also has her Child Development Associate, which is a national credential for working with young children. She is married with four kids ranging in age in age from High School to Elementary School. She has enjoyed working with children all her life in different capacities from specialist in the After School program at Woodruff Elementary School, to having a home daycare business while her kids were young and now working as a lead Preschool teacher at the Early Childhood Center. She enjoys skiing, camping, reading and crafting in her spare time.
Sondra has worked in Kindergarten and Preschool for the past 10 years. This is her 2nd year of teaching Preschool at Adams Elementary and absolutely loves it! She and her husband have lived in Logan for the past 16 years. She is the mom of 2 amazing and talented kids. Last year, she was awarded her CDA and is First Aid and CPR certified. She is currently working on her Bachelors in Education. Sondra loves to cook, watch gymnastics, and spend time with her family.
Lori is the teacher at Ellis Elementary. She has lived in Logan most of her life with the exception of the 8 years that her husband was in the military. Together they lived in El Paso, Texas and Ansbach, Germany. Lori received her Bachelor’s degree at Utah State University in FCHD, with an emphasis in Human Development in 2016. Prior to getting her degree she provided State child care and had a preschool in her home for 10 years. With 6 children, life is always busy and together they all enjoy going on vacations, watching movies, and going to family members’ sports events. In her spare time, Lori enjoys spending time with her children, going on walks, reading, and cuddle time with her granddaughter.
Paige Robinson graduated from Southern Utah University with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in exercise science. She was a division 1 athlete at SUU in cross country and track. She grew up in Arizona and is the oldest of 5 kids. She has been a preschool teacher for 2 years at the Early Childhood learning Center and loves seeing the growth that preschoolers can make. She loves hiking, running, cooking, and spending time with her husband.
Jessica moved to Logan, Utah from Mexico City. Her background as a first-generation student in her family has been an influencer to help students better their own future. Jessica has been teaching at Bridger Elementary for the last 4 years and gained a CDA. She is studying Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis in Child Development at Utah State University.
